/PRE'VOK/ is a show that celebrates sexuality and the freedom to be who you really are….
That’s why we could not be more excited to host our show at UNION night club previously known as the famous disco club in the 70’s Jewel’s Catch One.
Jewel Thais-Williams opened Catch One in the early 1970’s and it quickly became the only safe haven in LA for dance and celebration for the black LGBT community…. But the joy experienced at the Catch was more than a weekend choice for fun; it was an act of defiance by black LGBT people and the people who loved them, in the face of clubs in West Hollywood where they felt unwanted because of their race. Celebrities would also make pit stops when they were in town — from Madonna and Sharon Stone to "Queen of Disco" Sylvester
So please join us for our next show in the “Jewels Room” at Union night club as we continue the amazing legacy this club started long ago by creating a safe space for not only our performers but our audience as well to express your sexuality.
“It didn’t matter who you were or who you did or didn’t do, All were welcome.” – Jewel Thais-Williams
